EMAIL TEMPLATES FOR WEDDINGPHOTOGRAPHERS PART 1

This collection of 12 emails is primarily designed to assist you in facing clients in a professional, polite and accommodating but at the same time confident manner. From own experience I can tell that especially in the beginning it is sometimes hard to find the right words. You either tend to be too emotional and personal or seem way too formally cold. This applies as much to everyday client contact as to difficult conversations with unsatisfied couples or clients who have different opinions from your own.

This should all be ancient history now as you have purchased the fitting emails to a lot of those situations. You are totally free to edit and alter them in a way that suits your very personal and individual style.
By simply editing these standard mail responses according to your style, you have one huge advantage: You save a lot of time. Instead of answering every mail individually throughout long periods of time everyday, you can use your precious time much more effectively: you can for example take that time and spend it on editing the pictures of your last wedding (the bridal couple will be thrilled).

THE FIRST IMPRESSION COUNTS...

WHEN IT GETS DIFFICULT...
Every one of us knows them our very special clients. Those, that are impossible to satisfy, who always find something to criticize or constantly try to lower the price because of various reasons. Sometimes you just wish to tell right up front what you think of them and their methods and even more often than that you see yourself writing the longest emails just to delete them right away to defuse your words or to start all over again. Especially in the beginning you let yourself get intimidated by dominant clients and you don?t really know how to handle the situation. The best advice in handling these difficult clients is to always stay calm and professional, no matter what! Try to not take any criticism too personal and stick to a neutral, polite and factual behavior. At the same time it is very important to face the clients with self-confidence to minimize exposure and to also convey your professionalism even in difficult situations. As this often seems challenging, I have gathered the most common situations in which difficulties in client contact arise and drafted suitable email responses on the next few pages.
